Technical Estimator - Potholes

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Estimator to join our fastgrowing Minor Civils and Potholes team. Working as part of our Rail and Infrastructure division you will be responsible for providing commercial estimates to our clients regarding a range of technical requirements including:

• Pothole repairs

• Concrete Repairs

• Drainage channels and manhole covers; repairs or replacements.

• Line marking

What youll achieve:

Providing outstanding customer service with a positive and professional attitude you will strive to achieve:

• Exceeding clients expectations by understanding their needs while ensuring Key Performance Indicators regarding quote return are achieved.

• Collect information on client needs and technical requirements to confirm solutions and provide detailed and accurate quotes regarding service costing and time implications.

• Engage with and calculate associated costs for our field teams to carry out identified work.

• Keeping detailed and thorough records of all relevant communications and amendments regarding any submitted pricing and quotations delivered to our clients.

• Analysing large tenders to assess whether we participate or not (bid/nobid)

• Gathering all required information (as above) to enable completion of these large tenders from start to signoff.

• Updating client portals as required whilst analysing records of number of quotes produced business won from them and identifying trends regarding business that has not been converted.

Who were looking for:

We are welcoming applications from an experienced Estimator who is looking for the next step in their career! Knowledge of pricing and time implications regarding carrying out minor civils works is ideal as well as excellent time management skills and the ability to be largely selfmanaging. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who is able to prioritise a fluctuating workload whilst returning tenders to our clients on time with exemplary levels of accuracy.
