Technical Business Analyst

The primary purpose of the job is to identify analyse and solve business problems by gathering and interpreting data identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions. In doing so the Technical Business Analyst helps the company costeffectively implement technology solutions by determining the requirements of a project or programme and communicating them clearly to stakeholders facilitators and partners.

Your daily adventures include:

• Discuss with customers and other stakeholders to determine and understand their expectations processes and business requirements.
  
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the implications of the proposed solutions are understood.
  

• Gather understand and communicate business requirements through functional/technical specifications.
  
• Understand from a technical point of view whether requirements are viable.
  
• Select and report on the best solutions evaluated to address the business requirements regarding scope and budget.
  
• Analyse and document business processes.
  
• Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain signoff on the specifications.
  

• Monitor track and control outcomes to resolve issues conflicts and dependencies.
  
• Provide viable solutions and opportunities as they arise and identify opportunities for improvement on solutions.
  

• Provide expert consulting services on the company services and platforms and related 3rd party platforms.
  
• Document solutions and platform enhancements in relevant company customer documentation.
  

• Translate functional/technical business requirements into Jira tickets for implementation by the development team.
  
• Creation of Jira ticket creation based on the work been done. (Testing New Project support etc).
  
• Be the point of contact between developers and businesses.
  
• Conduct UAT testing and reporting issues using Jira tickets.
  
• Manage customer UAT progress and completion.
  

• Provide 3rdlevel technical support for live projects.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and debugging to address customer issues.
  

Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or any other related discipline.
  
• Completed or am currently completing a Business System Analysis course.
  
• At least 23 years experience as a Business Analyst.
  
• Strong computer literacy skills.
  
• Sound understanding of mobile applications webbased applications and backend systems.
  
• Strong project management skills.
  
• Written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Interpersonal relationships and customer management skills.
  
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
  
• Business acumen.
  
• Knowledge of various systems and the ability to learn/master new software (Jira Smartsheets Draw. Io Confluence Google Drive Microsoft Office).
