Let us describe the challenge we offer

As a Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Specialist at Polestar you will specialize in financial reporting for a USlisted company complex technical accounting matters and the preparation of our consolidated financial statements. You will support areas by collaborating with stakeholders in the market to operationalize technical accounting matters and ensure appropriate compliance with IFRS. You will also support Polestars consolidated group with consolidation revenue recognition sharebased compensation financial instruments and other key topics. You will be expected to build relationships with other areas of the business such as legal tax sales treasury and human resources as it will be critical to success in this role and accurate reporting. This position will sit amongst a growing global finance reporting and technical accounting team operating in our Gothenburg HQ.

What youll do

Working in the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting department gives you a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within the Polestar Group working globally and crossfunctionally as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group. You will also work with the core business of the company and combine the accounting with the operational view of the business.

Your mission will involve:

• Responsibility for the IFRS Accounting Policy for the Group
• Decide on Accounting treatment related to all kinds of agreements and projects
• Preparation of Group Annual Report and Interim Reports
• Ensure financial compliance for the Group Annual Report and Interim Reports
• Ensure financial compliance for the Subsidiary Annual Report
• Ensure Annual Report filing compliance Group and subsidiary
• External auditors primary contact and coordinating different auditor tasks
• Internal auditor primary contact
• And other adhoc tasks

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

• Masters in finance related degree
• At a minimum 5 years of relevant experience from e.g. audit firm or similar position at an IFRS reporting company
• Extensive IFRS knowledge is required
• An understanding of Local GAAP in European markets
• Capability to translate and apply IFRS regulations into operational complexity
