Title: Technical Account Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Technical Account Manager to join our team at Matrix Global Services a leading global Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in infrastructure and networking coupled with exceptional customer service and communication skills. Prior experience with HPC projects in general and Nvidia HPC systems specifically is highly desirable. This role requires the ability to manage enterprise scale client relationships effectively while providing technical guidance and support. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset will thrive in our collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Direct the daily activities of Managed Services and Professional Services while supervising a staff of local and remote Engineers.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients acting as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries escalations and service delivery.

Technical Advisory: Utilize deep knowledge of infrastructure and networking concepts to provide technical guidance support and solutions tailored to client needs.

Account Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop strategic plans to align technology solutions with their goals.

Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address technical issues working closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.

Project Management: Oversee the implementation of new services upgrades and migrations ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption to client operations.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor client infrastructure and network performance identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Communication and Reporting: Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders through written reports presentations and regular status updates.

Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.

Revenue Growth: Identify upsell and crosssell opportunities within assigned accounts working collaboratively with sales teams to expand service offerings and drive revenue growth.

Adherence to SLAs: Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Requirements :


Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Proven experience in sales roles within the IT DevOps or cloud services industry.

Strong understanding of DevOps practices cloud computing and onpremises infrastructure.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Resultsoriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel as needed.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing and evolving industry.
