Team Lead - Support Services

Tasks

Active Management and Oversight:

• Actively manage and oversee the daytoday operations of our Finance and Accounting IT Compliance and Sustainability and Marketing functions ensuring handson involvement in key projects and decisions.
• Lead and manage significant changes in finance processes ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

Process Development and Compliance:

• Develop and implement efficient processes and policies personally engaging in critical tasks to enhance productivity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Effectively communicate and implement new strategies across support functions ensuring team alignment and understanding.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Directly lead and mentor a remote culturally diverse team fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Champion change management initiatives within the team promoting adaptability and resilience in the face of change.

Strategic Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with our management team to align support functions with our business objectives actively contributing to strategic planning and operational execution.
• Facilitate the integration of change management strategies into broader business plans ensuring cohesive execution and alignment with organizational goals.

Innovation and Efficiency:

• Drive innovation and efficiency in all support functions identifying opportunities for process improvement and technology integration to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Continually seek and implement innovative approaches to enhance the efficiency of finance and support processes contributing to the companys strategic growth.

Requirements

• 10 years of management experience preferably in the food import/export sector or related industries. Prior consulting experience is a plus offering valuable skills in strategic planning and problemsolving.
• Proven track record of leading remote international teams.
• Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or related field. CPA or CFA certifications desirable.
• Expertise in accounting financial management and IT systems.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Excellent communication leadership and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic evolving environment demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
• Proactive in challenging and reshaping existing processes for improved efficiency and innovation.
