We are currently representing a thriving and leading secondary school in Portsmouth who are looking for Teaching Assistant. The school is wanting to strengthen their existing team and to continue to build on their success this academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive team, led by the school SENCO.

Typical Job Duties and Accountabilities:
Support the learning of students 1:1 or small groups providing interventions
Working with SEN students including students with autism and ADHD
Support teacher in the monitoring and assessment of student progress including the collation of reports
All staff are expected to do everything they can to protect the children and young people from harm and to make the learning environment safe
Support teachers in the organisation and management of teaching spaces and their resources
Deliver learning development lessons and accelerate reader lessons
Contribute to the provision of extracurricular activities as required
Promote students wellbeing by undertaking supervision of students during break times as timetabled
At the discretion of the SENCO, to undertake other activities from time to time agreed to be consistent with the nature of the role
