agap2 works successfully in all areas of the product life cycle, including Research & Development, Engineering, Industrialization, Construction commissioning, and Project Management.

agap2 offers a permanent contract for highly qualified specialists with a background in engineering and life sciences for operative industry projects.

Tasks

  • Design of electrical components and specification of systems, functions and the associated interfaces
  • Integration of assigned electrical equipment and systems into our rail vehicles and responsibility for their proper functioning in the complete vehicle
  • Implementation of project requirements (internal, customer and approval requirements); verification and validation of requirements up to the approval stage
  • Preparation of concepts, specifications, system documentation, schematics, software requirements, type test specifications, verification documents, etc. and preparation of their reviews
  • Support of the construction supervision during the pre-assembly and final assembly of the vehicles as well as technical support of the commissioning, validation and type tests, up to the approval of our vehicles
  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team and with different departments, such as mechanics, software, purchasing, production, commissioning, type testing, approval, documentation, pneumatics, brakes, train safety, fire protection, etc.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering/mechatronics or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in mechanical or plant engineering, preferably in rail vehicle construction
  • Very good command of German and English, other languages an advantage
  • Open-minded, communicative, pragmatic and solution-oriented
  • Willingness to travel for supplier visits and tests on the vehicles
