Mission:

As our Systems Engineer & IT Administrator youll play a pivotal role in treating patients and combating cancer! Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation calibration and commissioning activities of the ProteusPlus system at our Proton Therapy Center in Buenos Aires. Additionally youll manage the IT infrastructure ensuring its smooth operation and providing technical support to our medical staff.

Challenges we trust you with:

During the installation phase:

• Collaborate on the installation of IBA equipment and technical tools particularly focusing on software deployment and electronics/control systems.
• Perform IT infrastructure and software calibration tasks according to established protocols.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of equipment to ensure alignment with specifications and meet customer requirements.
• Work closely with subcontractors to supervise installation activities until equipment startup.
• Uphold the highest standards of stateoftheart technologies and services.

During the Customer Service phase:

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Offer technical support to medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operations.
• Provide training to customers on equipment usage and collaborate on maintenance activities.
• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (including shift work).

What we value:

• Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering (preferably in Computer Sciences or Electronics) or possess equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in electronics/control system troubleshooting and PLCs.
• Have experience in troubleshooting electrical systems designing and repairing mechanical systems.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows administration Subversion software repositories and scripting languages (Bash Python etc.).
• Possess a basic understanding of SQL and familiarity with virtualization systems (VMware ProxmoX).
• Strong networking skills including routing switching and firewall management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Customercentric mindset ability to meet strict deadlines and willingness to share knowledge.
• Analytical approach adept at troubleshooting and effective team player.
