Positions Contributions to Work Group:
- PC and mobile hardware and software support for factory devices including corporate deployed IT assets at the Griffin facilities
- Provide support for PC operating system and security patch updates/deployments
- Diagnose hardware failures or vulnerabilities and replace failed part replace PC or coordinator repairs with 3rd party vendor
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure (switches routers cabling architecture understanding)
- Performing basic network and server equipment installation under the direction and support from infrastructure team.
- Assist with application/software related issues or vulnerabilities and/or coordinate with the software vendor for resolution as needed
- Provide Root Cause Analysis on issues impacting computers on the factory floor or sitespecific client/server solutions and make necessary corrections or make recommendations to the site on changes to improve/resolve impact
- Assist with supporting developed applications including initial troubleshooting
- Assist with ERP and other sitespecific account administration as needed
- Assist with nonstandard account administration in Active Directory
- Assist with other factory IT projects and initiatives as requested
Typical task breakdown:
Attending meetings with local business partners & corporate IT Collaborate with onsite IT team to provide status updates and determine next steps.
Trouble shoot network infrastructure in a local facility
Work with a production supervisor or office worker to remediate a client/server technical issue.
