I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in West London for a leading leisure operator in the Health & Fitness sector. I am looking for a Swim Manager. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management business this is definitely a leisure job not to be missed!

This is an ideal role for an individual who is motivated by managing a team of staff is commercially driven and passionate about swimming. The Swim Manager is responsible for the managing of the lifeguard team development of the swim programme and assisting with all wet side operations.

The Role:

• Manage the sales targets and provide clear communication to the teams who support the sales process
• Oversee feedback and enquiries from customers and ensure the best possible customer service is provided.
• Maximise pool space and timetabling to promote convenient entry points and retention for customers. By ensuring the correct classes are scheduled at the right time reducing waitlists and preventing bottlenecks.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge within the swimming industry and keep up with changes within the industry.
• Ensure department communication is transparent and expectations are being met.
• Manage the lifeguarding team and ensure all qualification/training is up to date.
• Ensure strong communication with your team and provide training for future career progression.

What we are looking for:

• Previous Swim Teacher or Management experience
  
• Must be fully qualified Level 2 Swim Teaching or NPLQ Qualified as a minimum.
• First Aid at work desirable but not essential
• Ability to show knowledge of lifeguard safety skills aquatic event management and water safety
• A passion for leisure the drive to succeed and grow the learn to swim program
