Arquid S.L.P. is an architectural office started in Spain in 2003 with a big international professional trajectory opening offices in France Berlin UK and Belgium. We work for private clients residential commercial corporate industrial hotel and cultural projects offering integral Architecture Project Management design and consulting services. Arquid is a company part of GROUP IPS holding.
With an average age of 32 we are encouraged to channel our curiosity and innovative thinking into projects.
Now we are looking for a Sustainability Architect in our office in Barcelona/Madrid.
As an employee of ARQUID the profile will actively participate in a wide range of projects from small improvements and renovations to large industrial investments. As an architect or technical Architect you will collaborate with out team members executing a variety of projects.
What is the role About
We are looking for an Architect with orientation in sustainability to produces technical documents have the capacity to review the technical work from other team members has the capacity to lead a sustainable plan in every project and make it true during the life of the project in all its phases. Also teach about technical mechanism software s calculations strategies to others collaborate with the lead architects of the office help assessing and developing business cases for the developer s branch of the company (House flipping) respect the methodology and philosophy of the company.
As an Architect with orientation in sustainability you will be responsible of:
Define bioclimatic design strategies: envelopes sustainable materials and constructive solutions energy efficiency low carbon.
Perform building climatic analysis with Design Builder Open studio Green Building Studio or similar.
Set up a sustainability roadmap in early phases of a project and identify key points investments actions and stakeholders in each phase.
Develop quality control and plan Follow up.
Develop reports according to requirements.
Perform and produce technical information.
Lead authorities communication for permits and staff.
Requirements
- Degree / certificate in Architecture with strong sustainable orientation.
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable designs through all phases
- Fluid in English and French
- Experience in Bioclimatic and carbonfootprint reduction strategies
- Knowledgeable in nZEB and similar norms.
- Fluent in Revit and BIM 6D
- Perform climatic analysis.
- Knowledge in ESG and European Applicable Regulations
- Travel availability. Open to 25% national mobility and 25% international mobility.
- BREEAM / DGNB certified consultant (nice to have)
