Plan prepare and execute sushi menus for our guests on board the cruise ship
Ensure the highest quality and presentation of all sushi dishes
Manage inventory and ordering of all sushi ingredients and supplies
Train and mentor junior sushi chefs and kitchen staff
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new and innovative sushi dishes
Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any special requests or dietary restrictions
Stay uptodate on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our sushi offerings
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a highvolume restaurant or cruise ship setting
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of traditional and contemporary sushi techniques and ingredients
Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a preemployment background check and drug test
