Job Position: Supply Chain Manager Oilfield Services IRAQ

We are working with an International Oilfield Services who is looking for Supply Chain Manager to be based in Basra Iraq.

Objectives:

Design develop manage and optimise all supply chain operations (Procurement logistics and purchase) across the Organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short and longterm procurement strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service while meeting objectives of the organization. Oversee purchasing of materials equipment or supplies for subsidiary and always maintain a healthy inventory
• Vendor Management: Initiate and maintain partnerships with external vendors to ensure productive costeffective and timely procurement
• Safeguard organizational resources by establishing policies and procedures that conform to government or industry regulation promoting and encouraging environmental improvement and at the same time are beneficial and profitable to the organization
• Handle unprecedented or unusual situations including complex negotiations with full accountability for actions by exercising independent judgment and discretion
• Maintain a favourable working relationship with all employees promoting a cooperative and harmonious working environment. Proactively engage with internal customers in Operations Business Development and Shared Services Functions regarding all aspects of procurement cycle
• Ensure full compliance with QHSE policies in all aspects of the Supply Chain activity.

Qualification:

• Must have 8 years experience in similar role with last 34 years as Supply Chain Manager in Oil & gas industry.
• Middle East North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) experience is a must.
• Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Accounting practices knowledge
• Knowledge of various softwares related to inventory management.
• Knowledge of the local/regional languages.
