Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supply Chain Compliance Initiatives: Spearhead our efforts in aligning the clients Supply Chain practices with legal regulatory and customer requirements pertaining to human rights and environmental sustainability. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our operations not only comply with these standards but also actively promote human dignity and environmental stewardship.
  • Implement and Enhance SCM Compliance Processes: Establish and refine the SCM Compliance framework incorporating robust performance metrics and a coherent operating model. This will enable us to consistently meet all legal regulatory and customer expectations while also advancing our commitment to Supply Chain Sustainability and Ethical Procurement. This comprehensive approach ensures that we are not just compliant but also leading the way in ethical business practices.
  • Develop and Maintain Compliance Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documentation to support SCM Compliance risk assessments and fulfill legal reporting obligations such as those required by the German Supply Chain Act and Conflict Minerals regulations. This documentation will serve as a cornerstone in our efforts to maintain transparency and accountability across our supply chain.
  • Cultivate Brand and Stakeholder Engagement: Elevate the reputation and visibility of the SCM Compliance team within and beyond our organization. Through regular engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders we aim to foster a culture of compliance and ethical procurement that resonates with our partners customers and the communities we serve.
  • Balance Leadership and Autonomy: This role offers a dynamic blend of leadership opportunities and the freedom to innovate independently. Team members will have the autonomy to lead projects while also collaborating closely with colleagues across different levels of the organization. This balance encourages a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.

Basic Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelors degree in fields related to Procurement Supply Chain Management Business Management Finance or other relevant disciplines.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management: Bring a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Supply Chain Management with a particular emphasis on SCM Compliance areas.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English both in verbal and written communication.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent organizational capabilities with a proven track record of efficiently managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical and ProcessOriented Approach: Employ an accurate analytical and processdriven methodology in your work.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Exhibit very good communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proactive and Independent Work Ethic: Display a proactive mindset and the capacity to work independently.
  • ProblemSolving Aptitude: Have strong problemsolving skills capable of identifying issues analyzing possible solutions and implementing effective strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to work autonomously and lead projects showcasing strong project management competencies.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Performance and Management Reporting: Experience in generating insightful performance and management reports underlining your ability to synthesize complex data into actionable intelligence.
  • Process and Procedure Development: Demonstrated knowledge in the crafting and deployment of effective processes and procedures.
  • Lean and Continuous Improvement: A keen interest in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Creativity and Collaboration: Possess creativity and a strong ability to collaborate and nurture relationships.
  • Product Quality and Engineering Processes: Understanding of product quality measures and engineering processes.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills: Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables Filters Formulas like VLOOKUP IF OR AND Conditional Formatting Charts) and PowerPoint with a strong emphasis on data visualization techniques.
  • Knowledge of International Law: Familiarity with international law especially regulations impacting supply chain practices.

    Work is not remote minimum 3 days / week in the office (Krakw based)
    Oneyear contract
