Supervisor and Welder

• Act as primary contact and provide regular updates to interdept and customers on project development in a timely manner.
  
• Communicate and coordinate with relevant parties pertaining to the technical requirements and engineering aspects of the assigned projects.
  
• Provide expertise and advisory support to enable operations to execute effectively and responsibly and consistently maintain quality workmanship and conformance to design and project specifications and good manufacturing / engineering practices.
  
• Plan monitor and control projects from the receipt of orders through to installation / completion at the customers site. Additionally to review and competently control the completion of project within the allocated schedules.
  
• Manpower balancing and work closely among interdepartment to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
  

• Ensure that work is performed accurately and meets or exceeds standards.
  
• Tacking of pipes and piping preparation works
  
• Installation of equipment on skid (e.g. pumps vessels etc)
  
• Skid assembly works
  
• Piping testing works
  
• Uphold safety requirements and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  
• Follow maintain and help create welding procedures and specifications.
  
• Operate machinery/equipment in the production process or assist the assy. department.
  
• Assemble items as instructed by the department lead.
  
• Help keep the shop clean and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  
• Follow all company rules and policies.
  
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  
• Operate overhead bridge crane to move material and final product.
  
• Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards as they apply to the above.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
  
• Other duties may be assigned as required
  

Requirements

• ITE / NTC / Diploma 2 to 5 years experience in related field
  
• 4G and/or 6G in ARC MIG & TIG (SMAW FCAW & GTAW)
  
• Preferably with 3 years of project management experience in the engineering or manufacturing environment.
  
• Preference will be given to those who have experience working with multidiscipline project teams in a manufacturing equipment or system integration environment.
  
• Able to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressurefilled conditions
  
• 35 years of working experience in argon welding
  
• Knowledge in stainless steel 316 duplex & super duplex stainless steel pipes
  
• Knowledge in installation and general placement of PVC pipes
  
• Willing to travel overseas periodically
