My client is a major player in the retail supermarket sector who is looking to hire a flagship Store Manager with a proven track record of managing highturnover flagship supermarkets or high convenience retail stores with full operational control. My client is a big supermarket name with a highly reputable retail group that has a proven track record for success delivering on brand values and leading the way in best practices across the retail network where other retailers adopt their retailing standards.

This Store Manager will be responsible for delivering on these values and further developing the store to drive further profitability and growth in sales as they look to take over from a manager who has been in the role for many years.

If you are a proven Store Manager who is ambitious and would relish the opportunity of managing a diverse bigbox supermarket this is an ideal role for managing one of the top stores in the country. Our client has a great management structure around the teams in the store with a clear business strategy in place and an average of 12 years of experience across the management teams in the shop.

Salary is upwards ofDOE plus a company pension and car.

• Full operational control of the store accountable for store performances and store standards
  
• Work with internal stakeholder management to understand business and store strategy and communicate this throughout your team across the business
  
• Full responsibility for legal aspects of the store such as Health & Safety food safety working time act making regular assessments and followup on action plans
  
• Demonstrate clear leadership across your teams coach develop and maintain a rule of discipline in the business
  
• Maintaining a high level of productivity through the use of proper channels using key staff and systems to get the best use of time and people in the business.
  
• Taking responsibility for commercial objectives like P&L sales etc.
  

• Proven ability in managing a diverse retail offering within a grocery retail environment mainly areas like F&V Deli Bakery and Butchers
  
• Excellent organisation skills are required with the ability to lead and motivate a large team under them experience delegating and demanding results from staff and your management team to achieve overall success.
  
• Previous back office experience and proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office (Word Excel etc.)
  
• Good working knowledge of Labour Law Health and safety regulations HACCP and Consumer Law.
