Structural Project Engineer

Multidisciplinary team is hiring a Structural Project Engineer for their growing Orlando team!

Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices
  
• Design of new building structures as well as structural alterations renovations and additions to existing buildings
  
• Preparation of structural integrity and assessment reports
  
• Design and detailing of structure including calculations and computer modeling for steel concrete masonry and timber structures.
  
• Manage and Coordinate projects with clients and other disciplines.
  
• Collaborate with Senior engineers to assemble structural work products.
  
• Coordinate with Architectural Electrical and Mechanical drawings and attend coordination meetings.
  
• Perform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase.
  
• Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.
  

• BS or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
  
• 5 years of structural design experience
  
• EI or PE/SE
  
• Experience using structural analysis/design software (Revit RISA 3C RISA Floor ADAPT)
  
• Experience designing a variety of projects (Healthcare Commercial Public Sector Industrial Education and/or Institutional projects
  
• Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices
