About the role:

This role would suit a competent structural engineer looking to take the next step in their career and ready to tackle new challenges. You will be responsible for designing some major Melbourne projects. In a high-performing team, you will assist with detailed design, analysis, site inspections and client meetings. You will report to a hands-on Director and have a clear career progression plan set out from day one.



Your day will consist of:

Structural design of local buildings projects across multiple industries You will also engage with clients, architects and builders during meetings and site inspections.

• Design, analyse, and document projects
  
  
• Master RAPT, RAM Concept and ETABS
  
  
• Resolve technical design queries
  
  
• Attend site inspections when required
  
  
• Support senior management
  
  
• Liaise with clients, architects and builders
  
  

Your talents will include:

• Minimum four years Melbourne consultancy experience
  
  
• PER/NER/CPEng/IStructE highly beneficial
  
  
• Experience delivering projects independently
  
  
• Strong technical ability with FEA software
  
  
• Ability to present to clients and architects
  
  
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  
  
• Experience with Rhino highly sought after
