Structural Engineer

Responsibilities: Design and analyze structural systems and components for various construction projects
Prepare technical drawings specifications and reports using drafting software such as MicroStation and Revit
Perform calculations and simulations using engineering software like Mathcad and FEA
Collaborate with architects contractors and other professionals to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
Review project plans and specifications to identify potential design issues or conflicts
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
Proficiency in drafting technical writing and communication skills
Strong knowledge of structural analysis system design and project engineering principles
Experience with software such as MicroStation Mathcad Revit and FEA
Familiarity with building codes and regulations
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
