Job Description

As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for designing analyzing and ensuring the safety and stability of various structures. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.

Duties:
  • Design and analyze structures using software tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
  • Collaborate with architects contractors and other professionals to develop structural designs that meet project requirements
  • Prepare detailed drawings specifications and reports
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
  • Perform calculations to determine load capacities stresses and deflections
  • Review and approve construction plans to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications
  • Utilize software programs such as Bluebeam MicroStation Civil 3D and CAD for drafting and design purposes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices Proficiency in software tools such as FEA Bluebeam MicroStation Civil 3D and CAD
  • Structural engineering and licensed structural engineering more importantly.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
