Store Keeper

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive inspect and track inventory items
• Ensure proper storage and organization of materials
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
• Monitor and replenish stock as needed
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement
• Conduct regular inventory audits
• Manage and optimize warehouse space
• Address any discrepancies or issues with inventory
• Adhere to proper handling and storage of hazardous materials
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery as required
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
• Participate in regular inventory meetings and reporting
• Provide input for inventory management improvements

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Store Keeper or similar role
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and control practices
• Proficiency in inventory tracking software and systems
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery and equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems
• Knowledge of safety and security measures for handling materials
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items
• Team player with a cooperative and proactive attitude
• Understanding of procurement processes and supplier relations
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work in shifts or overtime as necessary
