So, what s the mission of the Store Experience Training Manager?
To be the Growth Champion to our Retail Team, supporting Store Managers to coach and develop their teams to their full potential. Your mission is to deliver and drive the integration and full embodiment of experiential retail, in every store.

What does success look like in this role?

Growth Champion for our Store Teams

  • Sitting in our PX team and reporting into our People Growth Manager, you will work closely with Area Managers and Store Managers to assess development and training needs in order to create highly contextual and engaging learning experiences both on and off the shop floor for all levels, including services. This will include values embodiment, product knowledge, KPIs, conscious selling, marketing, KPIs, operations, and more.
  • Champion the use of Strengths within the Retail Team as a central part of people s personal and professional growth. Working with Store Managers and Area Managers to coach individuals and teams on strengths, and help foster a strengths based approach to every role.
  • Support Managers to have 1o1 coaching and courageous conversations that facilitate the growth and development of their teams. Including supporting people's individual aspirations and development journeys.

    Integration and Embodiment of Experiential Retail

    • Working closely with Area Managers and Store Managers, you will elevate and execute our experiential retail strategy, driving the integration and embodiment of our experiential retail pillars in all stores, enhancing KPIs across retail
    • This includes assessing needs, developing learning journeys and experiences, creating practical and engaging content, analysing success metrics, and consistently reviewing feedback to adapt and improve accordingly.
    • This will also include working closely with Store Managers to ensure they are equipped and feel empowered to coach their teams in their day to day. Partnering closely to overcome challenges and roadblocks that surface along the way.

    Effective Onboarding of new Store Managers, Teams and Services

    • Develop well-structured and inspiring onboarding journeys that encompass all essential aspects of the store's operations, team dynamics, and services. Ensuring that new store managers and team members receive the essential training and support to feel empowered and flourish within their roles from day one.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of new Store Managers, Teams, and Services. Facilitate the transfer of knowledge, resources, and tools, and offer continuous support and training to new Store Managers throughout the onboarding process.
    • Regularly assess the effectiveness of onboarding processes by gathering feedback and utilising the insights to refine and improve the onboarding experience, adapting it to evolve with our brand.

    Cross-functional collaboration

    • Cross functional collaboration will be key to the success of this role. You will work closely with most teams including retail leadership, marketing, merchandising and operations.

    • Proactive commitment to continuously optimising your social and environmental impact from both large to small decisions, staying committed within your role to together growing a sustainable business

    What would you like from me?

    • You are an experiential retail champion that embodies our brand values in everything you do.
    • You are confident supporting and pushing people outside of their comfort zone because you know this is where the growth begins.
    • You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Store Manager position or equivalent. Experience in a training position is a bonus.
    • You have experience delivering experiential and engaging learning experiences and understand the concepts of the 70.20.10 learning model.
    • You are naturally curious and always strive to elevate your work.
    • You are continuously learning and staying up to date with the retail industry, trends, experiential retail & best practise.
    • Flexibility and Travel. As a growing business needs change all the time so you will need to be flexible and adaptable with regards to travel both nationally and internationally. This is very important.

    Salary and Location:

    • Salary: 40k
    • Location: This is a travel based role, spending up to 4 days away per week. You will travel most weeks, but not every week. Needs will vary depending on the business, and your unique work-life synergy.
