Structural Steel CAD Detailer JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Prepare drawings for fabrication using AutoCAD and/or other design software *
Manage jobs from original concept drawings through release to the shop for fabrication *
Read and edit blueprints and AutoCAD drawings
MUST HAVE SKILLS: * Experience in the Steel industry * Ability to read blueprints and AutoCAD drawings *
Experience using AutoCAD software SolidWorks & Tekla a plus * Works well in both a team environment and independently * Selfmotivated and an excellent work ethic * Strong Math and Communication skills * Computer Proficiency is required including Microsoft Office (Excel WORD PowerPoint)
PREFERRED SKILLS: *
nowledge of AISC standards and industry code * Engineering or Technical College Education (Associates Degree) GREAT BENEFITS PACKAGE: * Medical insurance * 401K plan with employer contribution * Paid holidays and vacation time * Competitive wages * Great teamwork environment
