Overview: As the State Academic Lead for Rocket Learning you will spearhead partnerships with key educational bodies coordinate curriculum development with subject matter experts and conduct workshops to enhance early childhood education. Leveraging your expertise in early education and government collaboration youll play a pivotal role in shaping tailored instructional materials while fostering relationships and promoting professional development among educators all within a dynamic techdriven environment.
Key Results
- Represent Rocket Learning and manage partnerships with academic teams at the State level SCERT Department of Education Partner Organizations ICDS MWCD etc.
- Assist the government in charting a roadmap for early childhood education in the state.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts across domains to plan develop and systematically schedule the curriculum content and assessments that meet the specific requirements of your state s context.
Key Activities
- Build strong relationships with the state and district govt stakeholders.
- Organize and lead feedback workshops A/B tests to improve the design and development of instructional materials.
- Coordinate with other Academic State Leads and teams to draw insights about userlearning across contexts.
- Conduct training and workshops for teachers and supervisors on various themes under Early Childhood Care and Education.
Required skills and background
- Background/ Interest in Early Childhood Education and Social Emotional Learning.
- Minimum 58 years of work experience in early education and/or working with govt. in field of education
- Have a strong understanding of how children learn and develop.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Capacity and patience in building and nurturing relationships.
- Be able to adapt to the demands of a young fastgrowing organization.
- Be comfortable working with technology.
- Interest in developing expertise in the design and development of digital and offline instructional tools.
- Be a fluent Hindi and Punjabi speaker reader and writer.
