Staff Technical Product Owner

Our partner - in the Healthcare industry - is looking for a Staff Technical Product Owner to contribute to their ongoing strategic product development and improve patient care. This product acts as a catalyst for digital transformation that removes duplication of efforts and streamlines operations within the company provides differentiation relevant to the market and presents products from all teams.

• Lead the preparation of product features and engineering initiatives impacting the work of one or multiple scrum teams in an organization developing the product. It requires close collaboration with local and global software engineering team(s) and internal or external customers, partners.
  
• Deliver technical specifications, risk analysis and system/software design for medical device software based on external customer and internal engineering needs.
  

• Understand and influence business & technology vision for current and future product lines
  
• Collect inputs from stakeholders from different parts of the wider organization and functions.
  
• Based on the inputs work out parts of the development strategy: create options, discuss their technical and business implications, drive decision making.
  
• Take the lead on emerging topics which may overarch multiple scrum teams. Prepare them so that they can be pasted in the project roadmap.
  
• Work with team Product Director, Architect, Program, and Line managers to understand priorities and schedule, and make proposals for timing and resource allocation of prepared features and developments.
  
• Assist the Product Director in defining and maintaining the product backlog
  
• Captures user needs and delivers technical specification
  
• Defines workflows and aligns them with the software architecture
  
• Performs technical, safety and security risk analysis
  
• Complies with the development processes and policies
  
• Interacts with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs, quality and business goals are met
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
  
• 5-10 years experience including software development, product and project management
  
• Outstanding verbal and written communication in English and Hungarian
  
• Strong leadership skillsWorking knowledge of modern software methodologies (CICD, SAFe, Scrum etc.)
  
• Working knowledge of modern software technologies and deployment models (Cloud; public-private-hybrid deployment) Software development life cycle and methodology experience
  
• Working knowledge of SW engineering tools (defect, documentation, version management, etc.)
