Our custom silicon management group provides critical custom Silicon for all our products including Autonomous Driving ADAS Infotainment Zonal Control and others. This team translates the system requirements of nextgeneration products into the SOC/IC requirements and architectural design then commissions external SOC/IC design partners to develop those products and manages the technical execution of the SOC/IC development. Your Role:

Own the microarchitecture specification of select key SoC features from clock reset hardware boot sequence power management interrupt DMA interconnects and memory subsystems.

Evaluate the impact of microarchitecture decisions considering various tradeoffs to achieve the most effective design implementation for the product goals.

Coordinate and monitor key deliverables and issues involving internal teams and thirdparty IP partners. Ensure timely and efficient progress in project milestones.

Work closely with SoC architects and the software team to ensure seamless integration and interface between hardware components and software layers.

Conduct thorough design reviews to confirm the comprehensive implementation of required SoC features. Ensure designs meet all specifications and quality standards.

Collaborate with our design partners and support them through the execution of the SoC to ensure firstpass silicon success.

Your Background:

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering computer engineering or equivalent.

6 years of experience in ARM CPUbased fullchip SoC architecture design or validation.

Strong experience with RTL design hardware description languages and simulators.

Experience in designing SoC microarchitecture definition and specification.

Experience with designing or validating the SoC system components (e.g. clock reset DMA interconnects etc.)

Knowledge of Arm CPU NoC and DDR memory subsystems.

Knowledge of hardware supervisor features

Knowledge of highspeed interfaces such as Ethernet and PCIe.

Knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO26262)

Knowledge of virtualization for mixed safety or realtime critical applications running on highly integrated SoC.

Experience in supporting SoC debug and emulator/FPGA based validation.
