Staff Nurse - Labour Room

Responsibilities :

To effectively interface with patients/ attendants/ physicians/ other service users with a high level of responsiveness.

To demonstrate skills in patient assessment doctors round medication administration documentation & equipment handling.

To ensure proper documentation and recording of the Admission discharge register.

To ensure compliance with admission procedure record management and discharge formalities

To ensure effective handling of patients who are on Ventilator.

To ensure proper care of dying patients.

Empowered to communicate with consultants at any time regarding progress of patients.

To take nursing decisions according to the condition of the patient.

To ensure proper coordination with other disciplines in case of admission discharge transfer shifting to Cath Lab/ OT/ Critical Care Area/ NSICUCCURICUMICUPICUSICU Wards/Emergency Labour room/Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward Nurse/Pediatric Ward Nurse/Orthopedic Ward Nurse/Hematology Ward Nurse/ENT and Ophthalmology Ward Nurse/Urology Ward Nurse/Nephrology Ward Nurse/Neurology Ward Nurse

Ensure timely indenting and proper stock management of medicines.

Qualification :

Degree/Diploma/PG from :ANM/GNM/BSC Nursing

Registration certificate

Specific training certificates (areas of specialization / critical area)
