Staff Nurse

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications dressing wounds and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create individualized patient care plans.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress symptoms and vital signs.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions treatments and athome care.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and trauma situations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports.
• Adhere to ethical and legal nursing standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care meetings.
• Adhere to hospital policies procedures and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR certification.
• Proven experience in a clinical nursing role.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic patient care.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
