You will work directly with the Laboratory Quality Manager, supporting them in quality matters, and liaise closely with all laboratory personnel.

Here's what a typical day would be like:

  • Scheduling and prioritising calibrations;
  • Updating and checking technical and quality records;
  • Training and supervising of personnel in performing calibrations;
  • Troubleshooting any issues with equipment performance, validity of tests and accuracy of results;
  • Investigating non-conformances;

As a further progression your role can evolve to include:

  • Calculating uncertainty for tests and calibrations
  • Performing internal system and technical audits.
