Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The accountant will support and assist the CFO Management Team and Senior Accountant. To begin they will be involved in daytoday accounting functions including accounts payable purchasing corporate credit card transaction processing and assist in the monthend close. The role will also include special projects and reporting as required. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in general ledger accounting with an ability to achieve a high level of accuracy in detailoriented tasks.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in accounts payable related activities including vendor invoice approvals classification and entry
• Purchasing tasks such as vendor setup and purchase order creation
• Assist with credit card processes and work with management and other employees to coordinate coding of credit card charges
• Position may require work outside of traditional work hours to meet certain deadlines throughout the year

Minimum Qualifications:

Accounting degree and / or 2 years accounting experience preferred
Other qualified experienced applicants will be considered
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel
