CA baesd nonprofit accounting services client is seeking a directhire Staff Accountant to growing team. This is a fully remote opening with a yearly salary of up to $75000/year depending upon relevant experience. For further information regarding this opening please apply and attach your resume. RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all grant compliance reports and budgettoactual variance reports as needed
- Accurately review bank reconciliations
- Perform monthend close processes and prepare financial statements
- Accurately enter and post journal entries
- Responsible for new client training and onboarding
- Assist in yearend audit schedule preparation
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 years of professional accounting experience 2 years in nonprofit required
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and strong organizational skills
- Grant accounting experience is required
- Experience using Abila MIP/Sage Intacct software preferred
- Experience using Excel (entry to midlevel)
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance required
