Sr System Administrator

Job title: Senior Systems Administrator (SSA)

Clearance Level: Top Secret with the ability to get CI Poly

Location: Quantico VA

The SSA/Virtualization shall plan lead projects as required and be capable of producing a complete delineation of products and services support equipment computer and electronic equipment installations required for the site to fully support mission operations. The SSA/Virtualization shall plan direct and if necessary conduct regular special and integrated system test programs on virtualization equipment. The SSA/Virtualization shall prepare and conduct special reports and presentations that contain actionable information which is pertinent to individual site operations. The SSA/Virtualization shall conduct integrated equipment system test. She/he shall plan prepare and conduct on the job training to customer and junior Contractor personnel as required. The SSA/Virtualization shall coordinate with other field engineers to the benefit of the customer. The SSA/Virtualization shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

General Experience:

a. (U) Install configure implement and validate installation of components on networks including but not limited to: o (U) Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops o (U) Citrix ADC (Netscaler) o (U) Microsoft (current Version) Failover Cluster o (U) Microsoft (current Version) HyperV Manager o (U) Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)

o (U) Hypervisors and virtualization subsystems o (U) Infrastructure as Code methodologies

b. (U) Custom design solutions based on available technologies to deliver virtualization platforms to end users with defined groups and access controls

c. (U) Administer a variety of virtualization environments including Windows

Citrix and Linux

d. (U) Author and utilize scripting languages mainly but not limited to PowerShell to automate tedious repetitive and/or error prone tasks related to installation configuration and management of IT systems and services

e. (U) Step in midproblem and provide advanced troubleshooting and support to others

f. (U) Experience designing and implementing Cloud based solutions that provide remote access experiences.

g. (U) Experience with utilizing AD groups to control access to various resources.

Minimum Education:

Four (4) year college degree in system administration information technology computer science computer engineering plus five (5) years experience designing managing administering documenting troubleshooting and supporting multiple heterogeneous computer networks in both production and development environments as detailed above. Or in lieu of education ten (10) plus years of experience in designing managing administering documenting troubleshooting and supporting multiple heterogeneous computer networks in both production and development environments. If utilizing in lieu of education all experience must be at or above the position level described above.
