Must to have skills:

6 years of experience building complex distributed systems
Identifying and overcoming scalability challenges
Working on a database or data warehouse
Working on a scalable and distributed system in public or private clouds
Proficient in SQL and the Python programming language

Tools/Systems client uses and need candidate to have experience with:
Detailed working knowledge of AWS Lambda APIGateway SAM templates
Knowledge of API deployment strategies (EC2 Lambda)
Solid knowledge of database implementations (Data Vault SQL server MongoDB Data Warehouse)
Detailed working knowledge of SQL on Snowflake AWS RDS Active
Proficient in the Python programming language
Work cross functionally we dont only work on code that we own we work with other parts of Snowflake every day
Learn about and contribute to query engine internals performance debugging building highly scalable and maintainable systems and much more
Design and develop features understand customer requirements and meet business goals
Enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake and improve the experience of the data developer
Analyze faulttolerance and high availability issues performance and scale challenges and solve them
Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability availability and performance

The candidate will have over 6 years of development with active handson development roles on mediumscale production deployments of front and back ends.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop features understand customer requirements and meet business goals.
Build highly reliable software to meet the needs of the largest customers.
Enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake and improve the experience of the data developer.
Analyze faulttolerance and high availability issues performance and scale challenges and solve them.
Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability availability and performance.
