Sr. Mobile Developer / Startup / Equity / React Native

Zario is an app using psychology and gamification to help people reduce their phone screen time and live their lives to the fullest. Our mission is to help millions suffering from phone addiction find a better balance and stop compulsively checking every free minute of their time.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our dynamic & small team. You will work closely with our founding team, have full exposure to all entrepreneurial topics and the chance to become our future tech lead / CTO.

Tasks

You will be the main developer and have full responsibility for both our apps

You will work closely with the two co-founders and other members of our agile cross-functional team (incl. a freelance designer)

Bring your expertise to technical discussions, propose, challenge or approve technical solutions

Take an active role across the whole product development lifecycle

You will help select and lead two additional developers (and more if you become the CTO)

Requirements

You do not need to have a bachelor s or master s degree from a top-tier university. If you kill it, you kill it! It doesn't matter if or where you studied.

Have at least 1 year of commercial experience in React Native.

Familiarity with state/data management libraries (Redux etc.).

Strong knowledge of the latest JavaScript standards and libraries/ ecosystem.

Experience with TypeScript

Practical knowledge of unit testing in React using Jest and React Native Testing Library.

Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.

Ability to write clean, readable and testable code.

Familiarity with app management tools: Google Play Console and Apple AppStore Connect.

Released at least one application to Google Play and AppStore.

Communicative English (B2).

You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to get your hands dirty.
