EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and 7 or more years related work experience in Managed Care Operations progressive experience in systems development or information systems preferred and Project Management experience preferred. Strong understanding of system data models and database table structure. Proficiency in writing and executing queries. Demonstrated experience with and understanding of managed care operations department and system module interdependencies.
Technical: Provide technical and application support including but not limited to the assessment of technical capabilities and usage relative to technical capabilities. Query MHS databases or coordinate all queries on AS400 or AS400like databases. Manage issues associated with technical interfaces within Supported applications to ensure resolution in a timely and accurate way. Must have experience with MS Excel Word Access and / or other database applications
Communication: Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback. Promotes a culture of diversity respect & accountability. Challenges other through productive discussion. Anticipates and keeps project staff stakeholders and management staff informed of future or planned events which could impact on implementations. Ability to interface with all levels of management.
