Sr Financial Analyst

Position: Sr. Financial Analyst

Location: 05 months contract (potential to extend)

Location: Athens TN 37303

Shift Hours: 1 shift MonFri (8 hours a day)

Description:

Compiles and analyzes financial information for leadership. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses projections reports and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly quarterly and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.

Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Requires a bachelors degree and 6 years of experience in the Finance field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within the finance and /or accounting field.

Relies on instructions and preestablished guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision of a supervisor or manager.

Required Skills:

Fluent in MS Office applications expert in MS Excel. Experience with SAP and Hyperion applications preferred.

Familiarity with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex or ambiguous situations; ability to work under deadlines.

Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings by verbal or presentation format.

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required.
