Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.)

We are a leading provider of mechanical electrical plumbing and structural engineering services for various sectors including commercial residential industrial and institutional. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects across the Tampa area

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for:

Designing developing and testing electrical systems and components such as lighting power fire alarm security and communication systems in accordance with codes standards and client requirements

Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings specifications calculations and reports using AutoCAD Revit and other software tools

Coordinating with other engineers architects contractors and vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of projects

Conducting site visits inspections and commissioning activities as needed

Providing technical guidance mentoring and supervision to junior engineers and designers

Managing project budgets schedules and resources

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

To be successful in this role you should have:

A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one within 6 months

At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering preferably in the consulting industry

Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other engineering software tools

Knowledge of NEC NFPA IBC and other applicable codes and standards

Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills

A strong work ethic attention to detail and problemsolving skills

A willingness to travel occasionally and work on multiple projects simultaneously
