Job Description:

TOP THINGS:

• We would like someone with a programming background and 58 years experience.
• They must be able to work well with other people remotely (over MS Teams) and be ready to collaborate.
• Need to be well versed with Python SQL and PowerBI

Position Summary:

• The Transmission Risk and Assessment Planning (TRAP) team is responsible for the development of Client transmission compliance plan and scoping of projects. On this team the desired candidate would help with enhancing existing software processes as well as help develop new tools or dashboards to provide more insight into the data.

The following skills are desired:

• Application/webpage development (Jjango preferred)
• Python skills (including pandas NumPy SQL alchemy geopy etc.)
• Advanced SQL knowledge (SQL Server syntax advanced queries)
• Build PowerBI views and queries
• Ability to document work and effectively create organize and communicate information in a written format.

Additionally it would be great if they have knowledge of:

• Version Control
• Python Machine Learning and Modeling (scikitlearn etc.)
• GIS

Description:

Our team is responsible for the gas transmission side of things. We have created a compliance portfolio for all our gas transmission lines and upstream partners. Our partners provide us with risk and area data which we analyze to identify areas of noncompliance. Recently we have been developing new tools to improve our data analysis and visualization using various dashboards and visual management tools. We are looking for someone with a programming background particularly in Python and Power BI to help us meet our needs.

Our team assesses a pipeline project for asset management focusing on integrity management and construction execution. Analyzing nonaligned data sets we identify gaps and forecast upcoming projects. To streamline the process we plan to automate forecasting and develop an application for efficient project management.

The contractor is responsible for their own device. If not the supplier is responsible for providing the device.

Experience:

• 58 yrs Programming SQL Power BI Pythion substitute can be tableu
• Forecasting projects forecasting model
• Longterm a webbased portal where they can be able to download the project. Application background is good
• Someone who will script out data analysis
• GIS nice to have
• Utility exp is nice to have but not mandatory
