Sr. Back-End (NodeJS) Developer

Our client is a modern SaaS and IaaS company, collaborating since over a decade with customers across the USA.

As the business is growing, we are looking to hire a skilled Senior Back-End (NodeJS/Express) Developer, who is going to join a team of experts, working on a high tech product: security rooms for online meetings.

The working model is hybrid remote and office-based in Varna.

Tasks

Your Role will be:

Development of micro services.

Internal platform solutions related to Authentication and Authorization.

Testing and documentation when required are part of the daily routine.

Helping the other developers on the team and unblocking them when needed.

Requirements

Your Profile:

NodeJs/ Express (or similar experience) for over 5+ years.

Understanding of REST and previous experience using REST.

Understanding databases underlying concepts (SQL, NoSQL, in-memory dbs).

Mindset for testing and deep understanding of the concepts involved in unit/ integration/ e2e/ stress testing.

Agile mindset and knowledge of the methodologies.

First-class verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter, adaptable and willing to learn and grow.

A can-do attitude and a desire to learn new skills in a commercial environment.

Responsible and team-oriented person.

Preferred Qualifications (not required, but nice to have):

Exposure to Mongo/Redis in particular

Exposure to k8s

Exposure to React

Exposure to Selenium

Any previous experience with Oauth2/ OpenId flows.
