Main challenge: Ensuring accurate SQL reporting without a Business Analyst (BA) role clarification. The other agency was sending SQL server candidates not SQL Scripting. The data they will be working with needs to be cleansed put into a data lake and then put into a scripter. The server candidates do not have this experience. They should also have a BA or propellor head mindset Should be asking questions when data is missing or not defined. Data imports/exports and SQL scripting is crucial. The end client is a multimedia company so much of the data will be serial numbers or data affiliated with sales numbers. Strong comms is a must
need a technically adept individual with a blend of BA skills. Seeking SQL scripting expert to manage data flow into a data lake and then to NS with BA proficiency.
Working with financial data spanning 365 days including spreadsheet napkins; locating data sources and serial numbers is crucial. End client is a multimedia company; remote work possible.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SQL Scripter with a Business Analyst dimension to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL scripting for data import/export a strong business analysis background and the ability to work with diverse datasets. This role will involve extracting data from various sources including D365 Excel and other sources cleansing the data and importing it into a data lake for further analysis and integration into NetSuite (NS).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SQL scripts to extract data from D365 Excel and other sources.
• Cleanse and transform data to ensure accuracy and integrity before importing it into the data lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze data to identify trends patterns and insights that drive business decisionmaking.
• Import data into the data lake and integrate it into NetSuite (NS) using SQL scripting.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth data integration and implementation.
• Provide expertise in database export/import processes and data cleansing techniques.
• Act as a technical expert and advisor guiding the team on best practices for SQL scripting and data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in SQL scripting for data import/export with a focus on data cleansing and transformation.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with database export/import processes.
• Business analysis skills with the ability to gather and interpret business requirements.
• Experience working with diverse datasets from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of NetSuite (NS) and familiarity with multimedia industry practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
