We are looking for a skilled SQL Server DBA. As a database administrator (DBA) you will be responsible for a databases performance integrity and security. Youll be engaged in the databases design and development and debugging any difficulties that arise on behalf of the users.
Youll make sure that: Responsibilities:
1) SQL Server Management Studio database design installation conversions responsible for Backup and Recovery procedures Access security and Database integrity Physical data storage design and management and Data clean up.
2) Monitoring performance.
3) Ability to improve ongoing processes.
4) Managing database security roles and profiles
5) Support to developers and deployment team.
Youll make sure that:
- data is consistent across the database
- data is clearly defined
- users access data concurrently in a way that meets their needs
- data security and recovery management are provided
Experienced in Database Design and Development to perform the following:
1) New project database design utilizing
2) Various object development such as Packages Procedures Functions Triggers and Linked Servers for business logic implementation.
3) PL/SQL procedures development compilation and debugging SQL Server TSQL Stored Procedures.
4) DB Troubleshooting performance and tuning.
5) Experience in Logical and Physical Database modeling.
6) Cloud knowledge (AWS Azure) advantage.
7) Knowledge of PowerShell and Unix shell scripting
8) Experience with SSAS SSIS and SSRS
Required Qualifications: Bachelors/ Masters degree (or equivalent) in CSE/IT from a recognized Engineering College.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the workgroup as well as customers and suppliers
