Work Location: Fort Myers FL 33901
Job Type: Full Time (Permanent)
Salary Range: $100K to $120K
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Software Application Specialist will play an integral part in the coordination and implementation of software configuration installation and upgrades. In your role you will be the technical liaison between business units and the IT department for software configuration managing software applications and identifying deficiencies in documentation and developing technical/user documentation for a variety of applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
SQL Database management and SQL Programming ability
Integration and pulling of SQL data from various software systems.
Have working knowledge of data creation and manipulation to generate complex reports in Microsoft SQL SSRS and Crystal Reports.
Have understanding and working knowledge of creation and upkeep of Company Intranet using Google Sites.
Support business systems.
Work to support end users with application training and assist IT Help Desk with hardware network and mobile device troubleshooting.
Experience with Vista ERP.
Provide backup support to Networking Manager is a plus.
Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Bachelors degree or certification in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred; high school diploma or GED required
35 years experience with Crystal Reports and SQL integration
35 years experience with SQL Database management SQL programming and SSRS.
Be comfortable supporting business systems and company networks
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently
Proficiency in MS Suite with applied skill using Excel formulas
