Specification Manager required for major international flooring manufacturer and global player.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager this is a specification led sales role across market sectors including: Commercial Education Leisure Retail HighEnd Residential Public Sector/Local Authorities.
Work in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to develop forecasts budgets and action plans for the territory in doing so you will conduct market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities within the flooring market sector.
You will then present the market leading product offering and technical information to client side negotiate contracts pricing terms of sales and project management.
There are crossfunctional teams to support you every step of the way including manufacturing logistics design and service team.
You will enhance your knowledge of technical sales within the built environment through continuous training and attendance of construction trade shows and conferences.
Requirements
- Successful specification sales background and B2B sales technical sales within the built environment.
- Flooring product experience (experience in interiors will be considered for example flooring subprep laminates textiles & fabrics contract furniture lighting partitioning ceiling systems etc)
- You must be able to work autonomously and remotely covering the assigned region as needed and in coordination with the existing team. This may include working in specific applications/market sectors (as defined above) or routes to market in order to maximise efficiency within the team.
- Driving license required.
