10 Points is urgently hiring excellent and experienced M/M RSP Special Education Teachers for our school sites in San Rafael California for 202324 school year. Interviews are being held. Please call (279)OR email for more information.
- Age group: Elementary school
- Caseload: 24 students
- Tenure: ASAP till June 2024 (possibly)
- The position requires the teacher to assess students teach in a learning center capacity and support teachers with consultation on academics and behavior.
Job Responsibilities:
The following represents some major areas of concern in Special Education. Other areas in the Special Education field will be required to fulfill all the needs of the classroom and student IEPs.
Plan curriculum lessons and special education programs and teaching methods.
Maintain contact with parents of students and invite them to participate in educational progress.
Maintain the physical environment of the classroom for organization and presentation purposes.
Instruct individuals and groups on Special Ed. skill areas.
Modify curriculum according to IEP and administer testing evaluations.
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors Degree required with classroom experience preferred.
Active credentials as a Special Education Teacher in CA (mild/moderate)
2 years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
