Hiring a Sourcing Specialist in the Houston area with a proven track record in supply chain management strategic sourcing capital projects and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction).
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of procurement processes strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multimilliondollar projects.
This position requires a detailoriented professional who can collaborate with crossfunctional teams and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of sourcing strategies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand procurement requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers assess their capabilities and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
Manage endtoend procurement processes including RFQs RFPs and contract negotiations ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Lead and participate in supplier evaluations performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide expertise in supply chain management optimizing costs while maintaining highquality standards.
Oversee and manage capital projects ensuring timely and costeffective delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
Monitor market trends industry developments and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in [relevant field]. Proven experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, capital projects, and EPC. Demonstrated success in negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations. Results-driven with a focus on achieving goals and objectives.
