Solution Developer 3

MW Partners is currently seeking a Solution Developer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development with proven experience as a security engineer. The role will involve developing and automating custom tools and applications related to cybersecurity workflows as well as working with the latest CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Develop and maintain custom tools and applications to support cybersecurity workflows.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in security operations.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate security tools and processes into the development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and security best practices.
• Stay uptodate with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a security engineer with a focus on developing and automating security tools and applications.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript(e.g. Node) programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI) and developer tooling (e.g. Git Docker).
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Certifications such as Security GIAC Python Coder or related certifications.
• Experience with data analytics platforms such as Splunk and Databricks.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as PySpark and Pandas
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of web application security concepts (e.g. OWASP Top 10).
