Solution Architect

As a solution architect you will be a key player in the cooperation between Enterprise and/or Domain Architects other Solution Architects Product Owners Customer Journey Experts and DevOps Engineers.

Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the gathering and translation of business requirements crafting highlevel architectural designs seamless integration of components and validating solutions. Postimplementation you will provide ongoing support guaranteeing the quality of our IT solutions.

You will be part of the Transaction Management Tribe of our clients department where you collaborate with multiple teams spread across domains in India Philippines Bulgaria and The Netherlands.

We follow a Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to deliver better software faster. We work with the latest technologies tools and frameworks which means that you work in a dynamic environment in which you are continuously learning.

Tasks

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather business needs. Translate business needs into technical requirements ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Together with relevant stakeholders (Enterprise and/or Domain Architects and other Solution Architects Product Owners Customer Journey Experts and DevOps Engineers) you bring common understanding among stakeholders regarding responsibilities deliverables and timelines with a strong MVP (Minimum Viable Product) mindset.

From a strategic business & IT context point of view you deliver more detailed implementation roadmaps. You can slice and refine these roadmaps to the level of concrete designs to be implemented by the squads. During this design phase you oversee and challenge the solution.

Next to this you will stay involved postimplementation to do integration testing where you ensure components work together seamlessly and you address any issues related to interfaces.
During the whole product life cycle you identify and manage risks and potential issues and offer improvements across squads.

Requirements

3 Experience in IT as a solution architect.
A bachelors or postgraduate degree.
Experience in working in a complex and challenging IT environment.
Experience with an agile way of working.
Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web client server and cloudbased systems.

Your skills and competencies:

From high profile to low profile you are comfortable with collaboration and reaching out across tribes and squads and serve as liaison when needed.
You can communicate interdisciplinary meaning you are able to cover all product life cycle aspects in close collaboration with multiple teams.
Good communication skills (in English) strong communication and presentation skills (telling selling) strong problemsolving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments.
You are a good collaborator with a make it happen mentality eager to learn and ability to coach others.
You dont hesitate to ask questions. Not only to come up with a holistic solution but also regarding processes and tasks that are new to you.
