Solution Architect -Design Architect

Skill: Design Architect Smart Factory/IOT (Internet of Things) Development Language: CSharp C Language Visual Basic Programmer (background strongly preferred needed)

Duration: 12 months

Start date: ideal start 4/1

Travel required: onsite for the first 2 months mandatory. Travel weekly is fine expenses covered by client.

Local candidate would be icing on cake but not mandatory.

High level overview:

Platform is visual basic Windows App Deployed Program interaction with the warehouse from a picking transferring of data (SQL) to SAP. That stands for eye on production which is their homegrown MES system on steroids.

Experience required: Solution Architect: functional design testing deployment and support of Smart Factory IT applications which will also include partnering with internal teams and vendors for the technical development with Smart Factory Technologies.

Background needed: IT Application and understand Infrastructure within an ERP environment (SAP Oracle etc.).

Nice to have: Understanding of cybersecurity.

SCADA and/or PLCs

Detailed spec ask:

• This role is going to be a hybrid mix of someone who can handle architecture and design review lead a small group of developers (23 people) and someone who can be handstokeyboard with a development background
• They need this person to be able to:
• Lead setup and design architecture
• Drive/guide the development team (23 people mentioned above)
• Handle business process flows
• Design material flows
• Understand Warehouse Management Supply Chain and MES integrations
• Understand integrations with their ERP (SAP)
