Solution Analyst - Application Analyst

Dark Light a specialized Data & BI project staffing agency is currently seeking a Solution Analyst.

Tasks

• Work within multidisciplinary teams on various projects in Business Intelligence and Information.
• Focus on continuous improvement of existing IT systems and processes as well as collaborating on new IT solutions.
• Build sustainable relationships with stakeholders and brainstorm solutions with partners architects and developers.
• Translate business needs into practical solutions guided by simplicity efficiency and feasibility.
• Analyze and describe system behavior using tools like UML.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency for colleagues and partners.
• Develop clear work instructions for new or adapted internal systems to facilitate user understanding.
• Take ownership of software or services/SaaS solutions ensuring smooth operation roadmap development and uptodate documentation.
• Report on solution metrics such as SLAs licenses and incidents.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members serving as a senior mentor when necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Possess a bachelors or masters degree with a strong inclination towards IT functional analyses and process improvements. Familiarity with UML or Lean Management is advantageous.

Skills:

• Critical and Analytical Thinking: Proficient in discerning details from the essence enabling swift identification of genuine bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Customer Orientation: Excel in building and maintaining relationships with internal partners exhibiting excellent communication skills. Adaptability to diverse personalities discretion and adeptness in cultivating professional relationships are your strengths.
• Planning Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in effective project planning and ensuring adherence to timelines by all involved parties.
• Enthusiastic Approach: Display commitment assertiveness and persuasiveness capable of leading meetings workgroups and delivering presentations with conviction.

Languages:

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English facilitating clear communication with colleagues partners and stakeholders.

Expertise:

• Strong foundation in areas such as Business Intelligence Artificial Intelligence Information Management or familiarity with Azure and Microsoft Suite (Power BI Power Apps etc.) is considered advantageous.
