Exceptional opportunity at one of the largest housing disrepair solicitors in the country. This is an excellent opportunity to make your marke at an ethical law firm. Our client specialises in housing litigation and to date have recovered over 100million for their clients. They are seeking an EPA solicitor with at least 3+ years PQE and be either an experienced criminal solicitor or have experience of running volume caseloads. This role can encompass hybrid working, with the successful candidate s time being split upto 50/50 between office and homeworking.

Requirements

CandidateMUST:

• Qualified Criminal solicitor, with at least 3 years PQE
  
• The ability to prepare private prosecutions under the 1990 Environmental Protection Act in the Magistrates Courts.
  
• To manage Statutory Nuisance prosecutions under the 1990 Environmental Protection Act
  
• To prepare files for hearings and trials
  
• To instruct advocates/counsel to attend hearings. Skills Required:
  
• A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a working knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Rules or a qualified solicitor with experience of running a volume caseload with the desire to re-train in a new field.
  
• An excellent communicator.
  
• Confident and dynamic, with a desire to succeed.
  
• IT literate.
  
• Case Management Systems (Proclaim is used)
